During my recent stay at Hotel Holiday International in Sharjah, I was truly charmed by the inviting atmosphere and stunning views of Khalid Lagoon. The spacious rooms, particularly with the generous balconies, allowed us to soak in the scenic beauty-a delightful treat for a food critic like myself who appreciates aesthetics as much as flavour. Dining was a highlight, with three elegant restaurants, especially Fishermen's Wharf, serving up delectable seafood that evoked memories of my winemaking adventures-paired beautifully with their aromatic dishes. I found the Tea Garden, open around the clock, perfect for unwinding with light snacks and refreshing teas, particularly when accompanied by good friends and lively conversation. The hotel's location was spot on, with the Sharjah Souk just a leisurely stroll away. After an afternoon of exploring local wares, I relished the live music and ambiance in the evenings. A special mention goes to the attentive staff, particularly the bell captain, who ensured our car hire was sorted seamlessly, making our trip immensely more enjoyable. If you're looking for a comfortable and vibrant getaway, I highly recommend this gem in Sharjah!
